Key Privacy Information

• Core Data Access: The app accesses your camera sensor strictly for taking photos. Captured photos are saved locally to your device's gallery. They are never transmitted, collected, or shared with the developer's servers.
• Third-Party Data Sharing (Advertising): To provide this app for free, we use Google AdMob. During this process, device identifiers (such as Advertising ID), cookies, and approximate location data may be collected and shared with Google and its partners solely for the purpose of delivering advertisements.

Google Play Data Safety Details

To provide transparency regarding the Google Play Data Safety section, please note the following:

• Data Collection and Sharing: Yes (exclusively via Google AdMob).
• Required for Core Functionality: No. Advertising data collection is not required for the camera to function.
• Collected Data Types (via AdMob):
  • Device or other IDs: Used for advertising and marketing.
  • App activity: Used for advertising and analytics.
  • App info and performance (Crash logs, Diagnostics): Used for analytics.
• Photos and Images: Not collected. Photos remain locally on your device and are never uploaded by the app.
• Data Security: Data transmitted by Google services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Camera and photo storage

Camera access is used to display a preview and capture interval photos that you start. The app stops requesting new captures when its shooting screen is paused, the screen is turned off, or you stop the timer. A capture already submitted to the camera may finish saving. No microphone or GPS location permission is requested.

Captured photos are stored in your shared device gallery through Android MediaStore (Pictures/TimerCamera on Android 10 and later). Android 9 and earlier require storage permission to save to the gallery. This app does not upload photos to our servers or send their content to advertising services. Your gallery, cloud backup or other apps may independently sync shared photos according to their own settings.

Google advertising and privacy choices

The app includes Google AdMob banner advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Google services may process IP addresses (including approximate location inferred from IP), advertising and app identifiers, interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. This processing is separate from your photos. Google Mobile Ads SDK transfers collected data using TLS encryption.

Where required, Google privacy forms allow you to make or change advertising choices. Open the information button and Advertising privacy choices. Rejecting personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all identifier or network processing. If advertising consent cannot be resolved, ads may be unavailable; camera features remain available.

Retention, deletion and account information

Timer Camera has no account registration or cloud photo account. Saved photos remain in the shared gallery until you delete them using your gallery or file manager. Uninstalling the app does not delete shared gallery photos. Copies in other apps, backups or trash folders are governed by those apps. Clearing app data does not delete information held by Google; use Google's privacy controls or contact Google for that processing.

Permissions and controls

You can revoke camera permission and, on older Android versions, storage permission in Android app settings. Camera access is necessary for preview and capture. Vibration is used for optional capture/countdown feedback. The app does not scan your full photo library or request broad photo-reading permissions.
